Lovu, a platform that connects romance travelers with advisors, hotels and experience providers, has officially launched.

Lovu, pronounced "love you," was founded by Shri Lildharrie, its CEO, in 2021. It entered into beta testing last year, and officially launched this week.

Travel advisors, hotels and experience providers pay an annual fee for a profile on the platform's app, where consumers can find them. Advisors pay $795 per year. Agents can use Lovu to manage their profiles and promote their specialties to consumers as well as post offers.

Right now, Lildharrie said, there are 25 early-adopting travel advisors as well as 3,000 hotels using Lovu.

Lildharrie hopes to scale the number of travel advisors on the platform now that it has launched. Advisors must have certain qualifications to join, like accreditations from the Travel Institute or the Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialists Association.

"The travel industry has lacked a dedicated platform for romance travel, often overwhelming couples with irrelevant options and complex booking processes," Lildharrie said in a statement. "With Lovu, we're offering an exclusive solution that meets the needs of both couples and industry partners, enabling professionals to deliver targeted, personalized experiences while simplifying the entire planning journey for couples."
