Royal Caribbean's third Icon-class ship will be named Legend of the Seas, and it will sail in Europe and the Caribbean in its inaugural seasons. Bookings open on Feb. 20.

Crown and Anchor Society loyalty members can book up to 24 hours before the Feb. 20 opening.

The Legend will "up the ante" on signature experiences found on the Icon of the Seas, the first ship in the class, Royal Caribbean said. Details will follow at a later date.

The Legend will debut in July 2026 with a series of seven-night Western Mediterranean cruises between Barcelona and Rome. In November, the Legend will begin homeporting year-round in Fort Lauderdale and sail six-night Western Caribbean and eight-night Southern Caribbean cruises with calls in Aruba; Curacao; and Falmouth, Jamaica. All itineraries will include calls at Perfect Day at CocoCay, the line's private island in the Bahamas.

Royal Caribbean has ordered a fourth Icon-class ship, with options for two more.
