ASTA on Tuesday announced a flurry of promotions, a new hire and the promise of more hires to come for its membership, advocacy and communications teams.
Sarah Little, most recently vice president of business development, was promoted to senior vice president of business development. Little has been with the Society since 2012.
Michael Schottey, most recently senior director of marketing, was promoted to vice president of membership, marketing and communications. He has been with ASTA since 2022.
ASTA hired Aleksandra Biskoup as its vice president of finance. Biskoup has more than 20 years of experience in financial management, working with nonprofits and associations.
Rob Fleming was promoted to senior director of IT program management. Fleming, who joined the Society’s senior leadership team in late 2024, was previously the director of IT program management.
The changes come after other recent announcements from ASTA. Mark Meader was named executive vice president leading the ASTA Corporate initiative, and Erika Richter, vice president of communications, has left after 10 years with ASTA.
"With these leaders in place, ASTA is well-positioned to continue advancing our mission of supporting and advocating for the travel advisor community," ASTA president and CEO Zane Kerby said.
A number of other promotions and position changes were also announced Tuesday.
Jason Boeckman, previously manager of marketing, was promoted to director of marketing. Pam Bonin, previously the director of strategic partnerships, is now the director of member engagement and retention. Andrea Caulfield, previously director of membership, is now the director of membership sales.
Jasmine Causey, previously director of chapter relations, is now director of data management. Todd Wallace, previously director of education, is now director of industry affairs. Gwen Lane, previously coordinator of chapter relations, was promoted to manager of chapter relations. Teagan Webster, formerly coordinator of events, was promoted to senior coordinator of events.
